Coffee Before Chaos

I’ve begrudgingly become something of a morning person. Historically the AM has been a struggle (early walks with our family Golden Retriever may have had something to do with that), but I’m pleased to report things have been changing. My internal alarm is now defiantly set for 6:30am, which essentially means 1.) I’m getting old, and 2.) I now have actual time to get ready in a calm, healthy and surprisingly productive way. Developing a basic work uniform has also been instrumental in streamlining my mornings, especially during the mayhem of things like NYFW. I’ve learnt a uniform should consist of essentials, and knowing which essentials work given the various situations you may encounter is key. From slush to sleek, Teva’s Durban boot provides comfort and streamlined design, all while curbing the chaos wreaked by New York’s savage weather. And sidenote, never underestimate the power of a trusty blazer paired above a simple crewneck and jeans… Office-to-out at it’s finest?
